Might & Magic Heroes 7 gathering troops for 2015 siege

Ubisoft announced Might and Magic Heroes 7 this morning, the latest installment in its long-running turn-based strategy series. Details are limited beyond a press release and a new trailer, but Might and Magic X: Legacy studio Limbic Entertainment is confirmed as the developer, as is a 2015 release window for Windows PC "exclusively."

While it's the seventh entry in the series, Heroes 7 is going with a six nation (or faction) army; six different fantasy factions are fighting for power in a civil war that left a broken empire without a ruler, and everyone else fighting to pick up the pieces. On that note, Ubisoft is inviting fans to vote on two of the six factions that'll appear of in the final game, which they can do by joining the online Shadow Council. While the Shadow Council doesn't congregate secretly to plot world domination, Ubisoft says fans can use it to chat and pass comment to devs and "infuence the content of the game." After that, world domination.

Check out the debut trailer below the break.
