Space shooters Ultratron, Titan Attacks flying to new platforms

Curve Digital will publish two of Puppy Games' arcade-style space shooters on new platforms: Ultratron and Titan Attacks. Ultratron will reach PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Wii U and Vita early next year, and features twin-stick "arena shooter action." As for the Space Invaders-like Titan Attacks, Curve will distribute the game on 3DS in early 2015 as well. Titan Attacks launched on PlayStation systems earlier this year.

Ultratron arrived on Steam in March 2013 and is considered a "throwback" to Vid Kidz' 1982 arcade shooter, Robotron. The game features a "full upgrade system" and adaptive difficulty settings. Ultratron will be Cross-Buy-enabled on PlayStation systems, and is expected to launch in the same week on Wii U and Xbox One. Head past the break to check out a trailer of the game's PC version.

Puppygames and Curve Digital bring hypnotic action arcade blaster Ultratron to next gen consoles in 2015
Alongside Ultratron launching on all major formats, Curve Digital will also be bringing Puppygames arcade shoot 'em up Titan Attacks to Nintendo 3DS.

LONDON – 04/12/2014 – In a Puppygames double feature, Curve Digital will be bringing out new versions of both Ultratron and Titan Attacks in the first quarter of 2015. Titan Attacks will be released on the 3DS via the Nintendo eShop, while Ultratron will launch in early 2015 on Xbox One, Wii U and PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita. It will be available as a Cross-Buy title across all PlayStation formats and will be coming to Xbox One and Wii U in the same week.

A homage to the 80s arcade machines of years past, Ultratron combines the captivating experience of an old-school Robotron-esque arcade shooter with a unique retro-futuristic soundtrack and slick, stylised graphics. Prepare to be mesmerised by the exhilarating fast-paced action unleashed upon you as you blast your way through a multitude of levels filled with several bosses and a whole host of upgrades.

Titan Attacks, which launched earlier in 2014 on PlayStation formats, will also be making the move to the 3DS.

Jason Perkins, Managing Director of Curve Digital stated: "Titan Attacks was a big success for us on the PlayStation, so we're very happy to be bringing the game to 3DS while also working on a brand new arcade experience for console with Ultratron."

Curve Digital have been responsible for bringing some of the biggest and best PC indie titles to console throughout 2013 and 2014, working on games such as Thomas Was Alone, Lone Survivor, and The Swapper. Ultratron will be developed for consoles in house by the Curve Digital development team in London.
