WRUP: #4iF status report

It's the end of the first week of the second month, so we have to ask: How are you doing on your Four in February?

What's everyone playing this weekend?

• Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski, Twitch): Sleeping a lot and starting Outlast, since I'll probably never sleep again after that.

• Anthony John Agnello (@AJohnAgnello): Killer 7 blindfolded may be the single best idea to come out of Four in February yet. For my part, I'm going to continue throwing myself at the wall that is my own 4iF picks. Given that Bucky O'Hare and Little Nemo have been punishing me, I'm going to change tacks and attempt to beat Battle of Olympus, a weird old Zelda 2 clone. Who clones Zelda 2?

• Danny Cowan (@db_cowan, Twitch): I beat Virtual Hydlide and am currently routing a speedrun, because there's something seriously wrong with my brain. I also started up Vanquish, which is a damn fine game so far.

• David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle, Twitch): I plan on finishing my first 4iF game this weekend, Shelter. Momma badger loves her lil ones!

• Earnest Cavalli (@Ecavalli, Twitch): Having finished Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, I move on to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. I'll miss the minecarts, but gunning down laser dinosaurs should keep me entertained this weekend.

• Jess Conditt (@JessConditt, Twitch): This 4iF thing is stressful, so I'm going to just lay back and relax with The Dream Machine. ... What do you mean The Dream Machine is an emotionally intense psychological thriller disguised as an adorable claymation adventure?

• Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK, Twitch): I've started Tearaway as part of my #4iF, but I'm planning to spend most of my weekend on Jazzpunk. It's especially fitting, since I'm also going to see a 30th Anniversary screening of Top Secret!

• Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek, Twitch): I beat my first #4iF game (Tearaway) and thanks to the folks on our 4iF Facebook page, I will play Killer 7 next... blindfolded.

• Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM, Twitch): My 4iF started strong with Silent Hill: Shattered Memories put to bed by February 2. Things have slowed, however, and Risk of Rain on Monsoon difficulty is putting up quite a fight. I hope to have in conquered before the weekend. Then it's time to finally defeat an old, invisible nemesis, Enemy Zero.

• Sinan Kubba (@SinanKubba, Twitch): I'm already behind on my 4IF, but it's not my fault! Richard understands.

• Sam Prell (@SamPrell, Twitch): It's time to get this 4iF party started! Thankfully, none of the games I chose are that lengthy, so I feel confident in saying that I'll be able to cross off Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons before next week. If I need to change it up, I've got the PC version of Arkham City to plow through.

• Steven Wong: If I can find a spare moment, I'll give Double Dragon: Neon a try.

• Susan Arendt (@SusanArendt, Twitch): Danganronpa, which should delight the folks sitting next to me on my flights home.

• Thomas Schulenberg (@T_Schulenberg, Twitch): I'm a third of the way through Spec Ops: The Line and just started with the Ocean Realm in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. I'll keep going on both of those for 4iF, but I'll finish Donkey Kong Country 3 this weekend, too (for real this time!).

• Xav de Matos (@Xav, Twitch): I have finished all four games in my 4iF! Wait... installing, I have finished installing all four games. Next up: Playing!
