The Queue: Let's make things awkward

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

I've started far too many Queues with grumblings about Mondays, but ... let's grumble about Mondays.

Mer asked:

Have they given Mystic Birdhat on the back of my (very expensive) Grand Caravan Yak a new job yet since he won't be reforging anymore?

Transmog!

@emberisolte asked:

How long has The Queue been running now? Will it ever pop? XD

Boy, I don't know even what we're waiting for anymore, but it better be good.

SkarnWoW asked:

Here is one I am unsure of: The Azure and Blue Drake drops from Malygos. Are they still from both 10 and 25 or are they back to exclusive?

According to Wowhead's data, both the Azure and the Blue Drakes drop from either raid setting. You should be just fine grinding them out on 10.

Whiteout asked:

We have seen a number of racial leaders come and go (Thrall->Garrosh->Thrall again, Magni->Council of Three Hammers, Bolvar somewhat->Varian), and the possibility of new leaders is not out of the question. That being said, which current character do you think would be suitable to replace a racial leader in the event one of them coincidentally, through completely reasonable means, suddenly expired? Ex. Liadrin for Lor'themar

Liadrin for Lor'themar is honestly one of the few that make any sense to me right now. I can't think of many characters who have been positioned in places of power that come anywhere close to current faction leaders. Anduin is being groomed for some sort of leadership, but I don't think we can say he has what it takes to be king yet. If something happened to Varian, it'd be a real trial by fire for the prince.

The ones that would be most interesting to me are the options that could usher in a real ideological shift. If Lor'themar went down, Liadrin would bring some fire to the table. She's a very different person. Similarly, if Tyrande bit the dust, it would be awesome to see a vengeful Shandris Feathermoon step up ... or have the night elves rally around Maiev, who has very strong opinions about what the Kaldorei should be. I like to pretend Malfurion doesn't exist.

What I'd like to see, however, isn't necessarily a chance in leadership, but a change in focus. Gives us a little more with the leaders we see infrequently. Sylvanas is always lingering around, but she's due a big play in the spotlight. Similarly, Genn Greymane (or someone else in his dynasty, as he's getting up there in years) needs to step up and make a move.

itsdeeps asked:

if you could hang out with one character (major or minor) from WoW for a day who would it be and why?

Jaina Proudmoore. She's been through some real crap lately. I'd invite Jaina over for pizza, beer, video games, and a fistbump. Everyone needs a chill-out day once in awhile and it's awesome being the friend that provides. Not that Jaina and I are friends are anything. What? Of course I don't sit by my office window and daydream about palling around with fictional wizards. Haha, who even does that?

Hey, how about we move on?

@solitha asked:

IIRC, BlizzCon mentioned mobile access to garrisons. Has there been any mention of it since then?

I don't think they've said anything since. As I recall, Blizzard never actually said they were going to do it. Someone asked them if they'd consider and they said it would be neat. It would be neat, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag had mobile integration for a good model of how it would work, though. In Black Flag, you built up a fleet that ran side missions for your for resources. You could either assign ships to tasks in-game or on the mobile app. Heck, sometimes I assigned ships to tasks on my phone while I was already playing the game on my PC -- no need to stop traveling to manage my fleet!
