'All new' Ford GT packs a 600+ HP V6, Sync 3 inside
The Acura NSX isn't the only new supercar at this year's Auto Show in Detroit, as Ford brought a new version of its GT (Autoblog). Built using carbon fiber and aluminum for lighter weight, it has the "most powerful EcoBoost engine ever" inside -- a 600+ HP 3.5-liter V6. There's active aero with a deployable rear spoiler, while inside it features Ford's new Sync 3 setup, an F1-style steering wheel plus a fully digital and configurable instrument cluster. Of course, we can't forget the 20-inch wheels and upward swinging doors.
Ford promises 12 new Performance models by 2020 including this one along with the Mustang GT 350R and F150 Raptor, due to begin production at the end of next year. There's no price, but even if you can't afford a real one, Microsoft announced it as the cover car for Forza Motorsport 6, so you'll be able to drive it one way or another.
