The Queue: Twitter Edition

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) is answering all kinds of questions today!

I've had this song stuck in my head for a couple of days, so now you guys get it. Today's Queue is a special Twitter edition, because oh my gosh 1,700 comments and there is no way I'm going to be able to sift through all of that for questions, guys! But let's get to the good stuff, shall we?

@WarlockTriqz asked:

How do we get that new mount that Blizz announced?

Boy I wish I knew! But I really have no idea -- however, the purple color scheme and books/runes on the kitty make me think it might be something legendary quest related. I mean, we have Khadgar, who's all Kirin Tor which is all about the purple and the runes, and we have the Watchers hanging out with him, and they all ride nightsabers, presumably. So maybe something tied into that? Alternatively, maybe a tie-in for Heroes of the Storm, but I'm not sure about that one.

@wipe_project asked:

Any upcoming idea for the cities? since the Garrisons, is like a ghost town everywhere..

I would very much like to see the draenei reclaim Shattrath at some point this expansion, and turn it into a dual-faction city where everyone can hang out. Honestly, I'm really tired of the separate capital cities. I liked being confronted with Alliance faces every day in Burning Crusade and Wrath. I really liked the dueling area under Dalaran in Wrath, so that people could duke it out if they really wanted to. But I mostly miss seeing the people from my server, all collected in one place.

Plus, Mists saw the Vale destroyed. For once, I'd like to see a success end with something cool added, you know? Make it feel like the triumph it should be.

@ladyrhees asked:

What would you come up with if you could create an armor set based on race and class?

I'd like to see some more riffs off of the flavor they got out of Tier 2, to be honest. Each classes' armor set really felt like it was heavily based off the class, and they had really cool design elements. Nobody can forget paladin Tier 2. Bloodfang was almost quintessential rogue. Transcendence had this beautiful, almost cathedral stained-glass quality to it. I'd love to see more of that stuff again.

@ForIronforge asked:

Can we compose tweets with the new in-game twitter thing or is it just automatic posts re loot and achievements?

I'm honestly not sure how it works! It hasn't been enabled on the PTR just yet. I do know that it opens a window, presumably so you can log in to your Twitter account. After you log in, typing /share will share what you want to say. Hopefully we'll see it enabled and functional soon!

@LibFeathers asked:

Where can my main go to snap a selfie with Thrall?

If you've finished the Nagrand quest chain, you should be able to find Thrall somewhere near the Throne of Elements, along with a ton of other VIP's that should make for some excellent S.E.L.F.I.E.'s!

@liopleurodonic asked:

which song are you hunting down first for your jukebox?

The Karazhan piece, if I can find it. Easily one of my favorite themes in Warcraft.

@IshanahM asked:

If you could have the story from any Warfcraft novel added to the game as playable content, which one would you choose and why? How would you like it to be added? A raid? A dungeon? Questline?

I'd love to see some sort of nod to The Last Guardian, just because I think it was one of the better novels they've produced -- I had some ideas for just that in last Sunday's Queue. Alternatively, I have several ideas for an entire expansion built around the Emerald Dream that would pretty much pick up where Stormrage left off and go places.

So many places.

That's it for today's Queue -- be sure to leave plenty of questions for tomorrow, guys!
