Located in the hallway leading from the Great Forge to the Military Ward.
Here you can see the dirt landing in front of the entrance to Ironforge, where everyone went to duel.
A vast trench extended along the Commons section of Ironforge. Lava can be seen flowing beneath; however, the kindly dwarves included safety netting, and ramps to get out if you accidentally fall.

This library included many books and scrolls that you could click on to learn about the lore of the dwarves.
The exterior of the Hall of Explorers was a museum of sorts, with all manner of creature skeletons. Each sat on a pedestal with a plaque that could be clicked to be read, giving some brief information about the specimen.
Located within the Mystic Ward. Characters porting to Ironforge via mage portals or Shatt/Dalaran portals appeared here.
Looking down on the Great Forge, the heart of Ironforge. You can see the forge itself in the very center, surrounded by smaller anvils. On the far right you can see the griffons of the IF flight path. Molten lava continuously pours down from above.

On top of the Ironforge mountain and to the side was an airport. This area was unreachable by players, but could be seen when flying over on taxi griffons. For a time in vanilla it was possible to take advantage of terrain bugs to actually climb up there and hang out (though there was nothing to do but look around).
This entrance was located by the Ironforge airport, and was not accessible to players.
