The city's main entrance is located in the northwestern quadrant of the Eastern Plaguelands.
Just across the bridge from the previous shot, you'll run smack-dab into the meeting stone. You can enter the instance proper by going left or right.

This is the entrance to the Scarlet Crusade's bastion within Stratholme, often referred to as "live" or "living" Stratholme due to the (mostly) lack of undead.

After killing Balnazzar, you'll find the corridors overrun with undead.
This is what happens when you try to see how many undead you can pull at once.
If you have the key, this gate will let you in to the undead (as opposed to living) side of Stratholme, giving you a straight path to Baron Rivendare.
Aurius will help you fight Baron Rivendare if you complete a quest on the living side of Stratholme for him.
If you've come in from the main gate, you'll find him near the chapel at the side entrance. If you come in through the side entrance, he'll retreat and be waiting near the Slaughter House. Either way, he has the Key to the City for you.
Inside, you'll find Baron Rivendare.
Baron Rivendare is holding her prisoner -- if you don't make it to the Slaughter House within 45 minutes of entering the Gauntlet area, he'll kill her.
