This is the storefront of the shop in Stormwind. It's right between the Auction House and the Canals, on the outer ring of the Trade District. The Ironforge barbershop is on the outer ring of the city, near the inn. The other Alliance capital cities do not yet have their own.

Forgive the low lighting in these screenshots. The latest beta build has all of the capital cities turning their lights down at night.
Undercity and Orgrimmar house the Horde's barbershops currently. The Undercity's shop looks a little... Nightmare Before Christmas, doesn't it?
Dalaran holds a neutral barbershop, open for business from both factions.
It's... well, a barbershop. Also there's a goblin. I guess there isn't much to say about this shot except don't let the goblin use the dynamite-powered razor on your sideburns.
The inside of the Dalaran barbershop isn't too terribly different. They are more or less all set up this way, with very minor variations.
This is the hair/piercing setup I started with. As you can see, there's no charge listed yet.
I've started changing hairstyles here, and you can see the price listed now. It seems that getting a haircut has a price, dying it has a price, and changing your facial features has a price. However, if you're getting a haircut, the cost of the dye is included should you choose to do that as well.
Here's the dye job. I can't say I particularly like this combination, but it's for display purposes right now, so it doesn't really matter. As you can see, the cost didn't go up. Dye comes at no added charge if you're getting a trim.
The last step is to change your facial features, if you wish to do so. What appears in this portion is dependent on your race and gender. Human women can change their piercings, whereas Undead men can enjoy their shiny new jaw. Or... shiny new lack of jaw, if you're into that.
Of course, not all is pretty within the walls of these barbershops. The chairs don't handle all of the races particularly well. My character has had her lower body devoured by the chair, and the Draenei that had been sitting next to me earlier had his lower body devour the chair.
The mirrors do not work, unfortunately. It's no big deal, though. If you turn off your UI to get a decent look at your character without the action bars in the way, the appearance sliders will remain so you can tinker with it without distraction.
