  • Battery life It's not the Note 3 but it packs a good punch for its 2,600 milliamp hour battery. good
  • Camera If I wanted ultra clear camera shots I'd buy a fancy Nikon, for my everyday quick pictures I'm more than satisfied with this camera. good
  • Ease of use Sense 6.0 is nearly idiot proof, and seamless in function. great!
  • Design and form factor It looks good, feels good and people double take when they see the phone in my hand. great!
  • Portability (size / weight) It's slim build and light weight make it easy to carry and use. great!
  • Media support No complaints available from me. Media or MP3 play loud and clear with the included headset or the awesome front facing Boomsound speakers. great!
  • Durability So far so good, dropped it already and it wasn't even knicked or scratched. great!
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) Blinkfeed is amazing. Other built in apps such as ZOE and HTC TV are fantastic! great!
Detailed review
So far this phone is blazing fast at every single task I set out to perform. Camera isn't to be knocked it's pretty darn good for its resolution. Calls sound damn good, the Boomsound is something else entirely, it can actually make your ears hurt at full volume. Display is Full HD and looks phenomenal as well as the design of the phone. Sense UI continues to blow me away with its clean build and ease of use. Battery holds up much better than previous HTC phones which was in the past my only gripe with HTC. Saving it for last the memory management of this phone is great and regularly reserves a full megabyte of ram by itself and that's a huge plus in the speed department. Don't knock this phone before you give it a fair shot, it's worth grabbing and frankly it's more than a match for the S5 and that joke UI TouchWiz. Don't take my word for it though, get yours today and thank me tomorrow :)

From what I can tell, the new HTC One M8 definitely a step up from the previous version. I actually posted a quick unboxing and first look on YouTube, go check it out:/20jvG1hztqA
