You'll enjoy good performance and more games than are available for any other controllers, but you'll pay more for the titles.

As a game console, the PS2 kicks the pants off the competition, with superb graphics and audio. For those without standalone DVD players, it fills that role well, too. PS2 units may be hard to get, ... but we'd suggest picking up the first PS2 you can find.

The elder statesman of next generation consoles, the PlayStation 2 has the luxury of a year's head start and many solid games.

The PS2 still offers a fun gaming experience. It probably won't be getting any big game releases (God of War 2 was likely the last blockbuster exclusive title to be released), but it has arguably the strongest back catalog out of the currently available consoles. I definitely recommend the...

My son is 5 and he had been playing the Vtech portable system which also allows you to hook up to your TV. My wife and I didn't think he was ready or mature enough to take care of an expensive unit like an XBOX 360, Wii or PS3 so we decided to go with the PS2 (slim). I used to have a PS2...

This system most likely has the most games available and most diverse game selection. The only system that comes close to being as thin as this would be the Nintendo Wii but even that is larger and its a much newer product. Also the graphics are comparable to the Wii and I know this because I own...
