If you're an Uncharted superfan (and really, you should be) who didn't get to make the pilgrimage to San Diego Comic-Con this year, you should really check out the highlight reel from Naughty Dog's panel at the event. There's a rogue's gallery of recognizable voices and faces sounding off about their experiences with the franchise, as well as a few discussions about the making of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. If you don't feel like watching the entirety of the lengthy video, we at least recommend that you jump to 13:15 to see Nolan North's spot-on Christopher Walken impression. See that? That's why he's been in every video game released over the past five years.

  • Breakfast Topic: What's your weapon of choice?

One of the nice things about WoW is that it allows you a variety of choices for your character. You really aren't pigeon holed into one thing or another. There are some cases in the upper echelons of the game and theory crafting where one weapon or armor choice becomes superior – but that's only if you want to take the game to such a level. And even then, min-maxing to that extent isn't really necessary to be successful in raiding anymore.I've come across this in my play recently. My weapon of choice (and hence the forever awesome Christopher Walken music video attached to this article). As a Shaman I have a choice of various slow 1H weapons, giving a variety of different stats that I'd like to have. When entering the starting zones of Wrath I can pretty much find any combination that I want to fit my needs. As a protection Warrior I've found the same thing, even at times finding it more advantageous to use a DPS based weapon over a Def based weapon. For the Shaman (which I need to point out is just my favorite alt at the moment) my weapon of choice has shifted away from slow maces to whatever sexy fist weapon I can pick up. The DPS output is roughly the same, if not better in some cases, and I just like the way it looks.Yes, I said it. And I'll take the beating that's about to begin.

It's a full week after the record-breaking Wrath of the Lich King. How has it been so far? Did it all go according to plan? If you're like most players I know, you had a plan going into the expansion. Personal targets, maybe, or things you were looking forward to doing and achieving. Some of you might even have been your Realm's first Level 80 <insert class here> or <insert race here>. For the rest of us, I have to ask -- did everything go according to plan?I must confess, I'm not even 80 yet. I had expected to hit Level 80 within a few days, but I had to wait for my wife, with whom I leveled since Day One, to get her Collector's Edition key (eventually made possible only with some arm-twisting and name-taking by our very own Dan O'Halloran -- thanks, Dan!) before I could set foot in Northrend. When my wife finally got her key last Monday, she found my pace too frenetic because I would simply accept quests and do them as I remembered them from Beta. She, on the other hand, wanted to read and enjoy the quests and level up her professions at the same time. We ended up stopping at every Cobalt Node, slowing down our leveling pace considerably. That kind of changed things. Instead, I eventually decided to level ahead of her on my own time and just accompany her through quests whenever she played. I also stopped rushing myself and didn't mind spending some time in Dalaran's Underbelly looking for elixirs. I guess I'll hit Level 80 eventually. It's not going the way I envisioned it, but I'm actually still enjoying myself. I guess I'm the Man with a Change of Plans. How about you? How has your first week in Northrend been?

If you've ever taken a character to at least level 10 in Tabula Rasa, chances are you've found your way to Foreas Base in The Divide. Assuming you actually had your sound turned on, you've probably heard a couple of the base announcements that have amused players since the game's release. (And if you haven't, they've conveniently uploaded them to their website for your listening pleasure.) In a world of lore largely devoted to the burdensome task of preserving the human race in the face of a a tireless alien foe, the Foreas Base announcements are one of the true bright spots in the game, with their dry humor and frequent Christopher Walken impressions. That's why we were so excited to see the announcement of a new contest in this week's Weekend Wrapup. The Tabula Rasa Base Announcement Contest, as its known, calls for players to come up with the most witty, amusing base announcement they can think of, and record it for the Destination Games team's to judge. All announcements are required to be under fifty words in length, devoid of copyrighted material or phrases, and preferably PG-13. Submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, quality, and presentation. Grammar counts! The winner will get their announcement recorded and put in the game, while runners up will get some free Tabula Rasa swag. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Let's not kid ourselves here -- we would be lucky if Balls of Fury DS turned out to be as "good" as the terrible table-tennis/martial-arts film it's based on. Judging by this markdown on the game only two weeks after its release, however, we doubt the title meets even the movie's standards. So why should anyone bother picking Balls of Fury DS up? Amazon is hosting a $12.99 sale for it (Today only) You still have fond memories of Christopher Walken and that Fatboy Slim video he did IGN and GameSpot said it's not so bad if all that you're looking for is a somewhat decent Ping Pong experience You want to support DSI Games, the publisher putting out Barnyard Blast [Via CAG]
