Fresh off its exciting camera announcements from CES 2016, Nikon is now back with more. Today, the company is introducing a new line of premium point-and-shoots, called DL. This series consists of three different cameras -- the DL24-85, DL18-50 and DL24-500 -- each named after the type of fixed lens that's on them. And that, for the most part, is the difference between the trio. They all feature a 20.8-megapixel (1-inch, CX-format) BSI CMOS sensor, coupled with an Expeed 6A image processor, 20 fps continuous shooting, 4K video at up to 30 fps and slow-motion movies at 120 fps (1080p) and 240 fps (720p).

Starhawk's Limited Edition isn't the "pay extra for a huge box" variety, it's the "automatic upgrade on first printing" variety, exclusive to GameStop. If you've pre-ordered it from that store already, congrats! This exclusive version comes with extra DLC, including the "Maw of Despair Outcast Pack" (wow, free despair!) with a co-op map and multiplayer skin, the "Echo Scrapyard Rifter Pack" with a new "Homeworld," and another multiplayer skin. You'll also get a PS3 theme featuring Starhawk concept art, a soundtrack and ... oh yeah, a PSOne Classics copy of Warhawk. If you were going to get this anyway, and especially if you were going to shop there anyway, this is a pretty great deal. If not, you still have until May to figure out whether it's worth jumping shop.

Claudiog has confirmed what we've speculated for a while. The digital download of Wrath of the Lich King will not be available right away next Thursday. The digital download for Burning Crusade took a few weeks to get going, and while Claudiog can't say if the Wrath version will take as long, he does mention it won't be available immediately. This is important if you're living someplace far off and are expecting to be able to download Wrath the night it releases. While there will no-doubt be places around the internet where you can do it – you will have to use those places at your own risk. You'll hear it here when the digital download does finally go live, but don't expect it anytime soon.

Similar to the height / width race that's always going on in the land of HDTV, the write speed race is also one that never seems to cease. While you can toast a blank DVD at 20x, the dual-layer variety demands a bit more patience, but thanks to Pioneer's latest, the waiting game is getting ever shorter. The DVR-A12J lineup comes in piano black, silver, and white color schemes, claims Windows XP compatibility, and offers up 10x write speeds on dual-layer DVD+/-R media. Additionally, it touts Labelflash technology (similar to LightScribe), writes to single-layer DVD media at 18x, and takes care of DVD-RAM at 12x. Moreover, it boasts a 2MB cache and a rather stout Cyberlink software bundle, including PowerDVD6, PowerProducer, and Power2Go. So if you're still holding out on those pricey (and sluggish) Blu-ray burners, you can snap this sucka up for just ¥10,000 ($86) later this month.[Via Impress]
