InnoDisk unveils miniscule 128GB nanoSSD at Computex

The last time InnoDisk made waves, it was just about this time last year with its 128GB FiD 2.5-inch SATA 10000 SSD. At this year's Computex, the company was showcasing yet another new storage model: the 128GB SATA nanoSSD. The tiny device was even strapped onto a motherboard that was vibrating out of control in order to show its resistance to the shakes, which honestly, is the most provocative aspect of the whole thing. InnoDisk intros 128GB FiD 2.5-inch SATA 10000 SSD

If you were impressed with OCZ's latest 2.5-inch SSDs, chances are you'll be thoroughly enamored by InnoDisk's FiD 2.5-inch SATA 10000. 'Course, it's certainly not the first 128GB solid state disc we've seen, but it does boast a rugged metal enclosure and promises sustained read / write rates of up to 110Mbps / 90Mbps. Reportedly, this SLC NAND flash drive will see its way out to samplers later this month, and it should start shipping in volume sometime during Q2.

InnoDisk's 32GB Flash Disk ExpressCard also does USB 2.0

Neither 32GB USB keys nor 32GB SSD ExpressCards are anything new, but wedding the two ideas into a swank dual interface drive is a commendable twist. Notably, InnoDisk has done just that, as its 32GB Flash Disk plays nice with both ExpressCard slots and USB 2.0, touts a read speed of around 30M/S, a write speed of 20M/S, and also arrives in a few smaller capacities for those not needing all 32 gigs. Unfortunately, there's no word on price at the moment, but we'll keep our eyes peeled.
