PSN maintenance scheduled for a six-hour session on Jan. 27
Sony has announced it will perform PlayStation Network maintenance on Monday, January 27, beginning at 9:30 AM Pacific (12:30 PM Eastern). The downtime is expected to run for six hours, until 3:30 PM Pacific (6:30 PM Eastern). "If you've signed in to PlayStation Network any time since January 20th you will be able to play games online and access partner apps such as Netflix during this maintenance period," a forum post from PlayStation Senior Community Manager Paul Sullivan announced yesterday. The scheduled maintenance will disable access to the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and account management sections of PlayStation devices. Sony suggests players log into the PlayStation Network prior to January 27 to ensure they can access their favorite online content. If your favorite online content includes running Battlefield 4 issue-free, however, maybe throw a prayer to the gods of networking into the mix.

PlayStation Network is scheduled for maintenance Monday, December 3, and will be down from 8am PT/11am ET to 4pm PT/7pm ET.Those that have signed in to PSN in the last few days or do so this weekend shouldn't be affected by the maintenance period and can play online Monday. PlayStation Home, the PlayStation Store and account management sections are off-limits, however.
PSA: PSN down for maintenance in Europe Monday morning
Our friends over in Europe will have to suffer through a few hours of PSN downtime next week. PSN will be down in Europe on Monday from 6am until 9am GMT – that's 1am until 4am Eastern, in case you're one of those Europeans who keeps time that way. No judgment!During the outage, the PlayStation Store and online account management settings on the PlayStation 3 and PSP will be inaccessible. The Vita, strangely, was not listed in the maintenance notice. The downtime should have no affect on your Trophy-gathering – they'll be reflected on your profile when the network is restored – and you should have no problem getting your early-morning online gaming fix.

The PSN store is about to get an overhaul next week and Sony's announced some planned PSN maintenance prior to the relaunch. This Monday, October 15, from 4am PT/7am ET until 4pm PT/7am ET, PSN will experience some downtime.If you've logged into PSN over the past few days or make some time to do so this weekend, you shouldn't be affected. That's not to say you'll have access to all of PSN, though – during the downtime, the PSN Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management sections of PSN will be unavailable.
PSN maintenance scheduled for today, log in to retain access
The PlayStation Network will undergo scheduled maintenance today from 8AM until 11PM Pacific. The maintenance affects both North America and Europe. So, that's 11AM until 2AM Eastern and 16:00 until 07:00 Friday in the UK.According to Sony, as long as you have signed in to PSN within five days prior to the maintenance, you will be able to play games online and use apps. If you haven't, you may receive a message saying "Playstation Network is undergoing maintenance."The PlayStation Twitter will give the "all clear" when full functionality is restored.
PSA: 13-hour PSN maintenance begins tomorrow morning
It's time once again for the PlayStation Network to be poked, prodded and generally fiddled around with by Sony's countless technicians and maintenance cyborgs. As per usual, 13 hours chock full of network rejiggering are scheduled to begin tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. EST, during which time the PSN Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management services and online play will be unavailable.PlayStation websites hosted on PSN servers, like the Official PlayStation Blog, will also be offline during maintenance. The official PlayStation Twitter account, however, will continue to function properly, since it's on Twitter and everything. Updates regarding maintenance can be found there, though extended periods of downtime are usually situations where no news is good news.
PSN down for maintenance tomorrow, for real this time
That "significant" PSN maintenance that was originally scheduled for last Thursday (and subsequently delayed) is so totally happening tomorrow, scheduled to start at 3 PM Eastern and expected to last until 5 AM Eastern the following morning.All users will be automatically signed out, and all PSN services (including online play, the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management and official websites like the PlayStation Blog) will all be offline and inaccesible. Thankfully, last Thursday's delay gave us time to prepare an Extended PSN Maintenance Survival Kit, which is essentially a Rainbow Brite lunchbox full of beef jerky and Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law DVDs.

Update: Sony has postponed tomorrow's PlayStation maintenance until a later, unspecified date. The PlayStation Network will be down approximately 11 hours for maintenance today. Beginning at 11AM Eastern (8AM Pacific) and going until 10PM Eastern (7PM Pacific), users won't have access to account management and registration, though "the majority" should be able to play games online. The maintenance is also scheduled today for European servers.

The PlayStation Network will be offline for maintenance today, for approximately 11 hours. During that time, users will not be able to access the PSN store, have difficulty signing into PSN and will "not be able to play online game." The maintenance begins: 8AM Pacific 11AM Eastern 4PM Albion 5PM Gaul We should have more specific information on what this maintenance is about later today. Update: It's in prep for online storage of PS3 game saves.

The PlayStation Network is getting its oil checked and tires rotated tomorrow, September 21, and will knock several features offline during that time. The regular maintenance is expected to run from 8AM-5PM Pacific (11AM-8PM Eastern; 4PM-2AM BST) and will prevent access to the PSN Store, Home, Account Management. Users "may encounter difficulty while signing in to PSN." Due to the maintenance, Sony will have its regular PSN update today.
