Apple issues RAW compatibility update for OS X 10.8
Do you like it RAW? Fans of the minimally processed image file format should head out to the Mac App Store today for another in a series of RAW compatibility updates for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Today's update features updates for three new Canon cameras (Canon EOS-1D C, EOS Rebel SL1 and EOS Rebel T5i), the gorgeous Hasselblad Lunar, Nikon's Coolpix A, D7100, Nikon 1 J3, Nikon 1 S1 and the Sony Alpha NEX-3N. Apple Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.5
Apple today released another Digital Camera RAW Compatibility update. Version 3.5 provides RAW format compatibility for imaging applications like Aperture and iPhoto for these new cameras: Canon PowerShot G12 Leica D-Lux 5 Leica V-Lux 2 Nikon D7000 Nikon COOLPIX P7000 Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2 These cameras have been added to the list of digital camera RAW files supported by Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, and are in addition to those currently listed on Apple's Support website.
