Griffin developing radio SHARK HD
Apple peripheral giant Griffin Technology announced plans today to develop radio SHARK HD, an HD variant of their popular, fin-based, time-shifting radio SHARK device. Coupling a memorable design (uh, it's a shark fin) with a digital AM/FM tuner -- delivering near CD-quality FM and near FM-quality AM -- and a software package for recording off radio and syncing to an iPod, we imagine content owners must be thrilled with the announcement. To pacify the suits, Griffin will add the ability to purchase songs heard on digital radio through the iTunes Music Store ... which we're absolutely positive is going to be a popular feature.
