Here we are for yet another edition of Ask X3F, and we've made a discovery. It seems you readers just love sending us questions about games everyone seems to have forgotten. This week we answer questions about (get this) Interstellar Marines (who?) and the video game versions of both Heat and Sin City. At least, we try to answer them. Interstellar Marines seems to have done everything short of disappearing. We also address charging for gamerpics and themes and the console real time strategy experience. Click ahead for your questions, and our answers. As always, feel free to supplement our answers (especially on these obscure games) with your own knowledge.Got a question for Ask X3F? For Ask X3F this week, we tackle the tough issues. We won't allow this feature to be dragged into the mud where there is nothing substantive to offer. No sir. This week we talk about the Vision camera, the Red Ring of Death warranty, and downloadable games. Finally, we discuss Microsoft's most devious creation, the digital crack known as Achievements. Honestly, we don't know what they put in 'em, we just know we can't stop unlocking 'em. Get your weekly dose after the break.Got a question for Ask X3F? On the other hand, we wouldn't be surprised if you've never even heard of Frame City Killer. Another edition of Ask X3F is upon us, boys and girls. In this weeks installment, we discuss many puzzling issues including what happened to Microsoft Point gifting, why X3F giveaways are only open in North America and just what the deal is with Rock Band 1 DLC compatibility. We also ask a very important question: what exactly makes a hit? The Arcade Hits program has been discounting Xbox Live Arcade games for a while now, but we really don't know what makes a 'hit.' Why are some games discounted while others are not. We explore the possibilities after the break. The mailbag is getting a bit thin this week, so be sure to send in your questions and comments for next week.Got a question for Ask X3F? This week on Ask X3F, the community-powered feature where we answer reader questions, we have a lot to cover. We've got Star Trek Online questions, we've got New Xbox Experience questions, we even have questions that aren't really questions at all. We also share a few choice words on exactly why it is that Microsoft can cram a 120GB hard drive into a Zune but decided not to build one into every Xbox 360. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we answer a question we haven't heard since the 90's: Virtua Fighter or Soul Calibur?Got a question for Ask X3F? 08.19.2008

This week on a newly rejuvenated Ask X3F, we tackle wireless internet stealing sharing, erratic Xbox 360 sign-in problems and the ability of the Xbox 360 Fancast to turn people into (extremely) minor internet celebrities. We also discuss the practice of borrowing games from friends. It's a tricky road to travel. Personally, we've seen some of our best games lost to the abyss thanks to untrustworthy friends (thanks for losing Earthworm Jim, Joey!). However, it can also be a great (and cheap) way to experience games you wouldn't otherwise. Delve dee into this week's edition of Ask X3F and uncover its secrets. No, seriously. 08.12.2008

It's a short Ask X3F this week. Why? Because we have next to zero questions to answer. Sometimes, that's just how it happens. As such, it won't take you very long to read it this week. We know, it makes us sad too. But look at it this way, with the time you save on reading Ask X3F, you can get other things done. Important things ... like chores! Or, failing that, you could always play some video games. We understand that's a pretty popular activity these days.Fun fact: this is the second time we've featured Chronicles of Riddick as the headline image for Ask X3F. See if you can find the other one. It will be fun, we promise!Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? Send it all to ask [at] xbox360fanboy [dawt] com.

Okay, deep breath. Ask X3F is back the way it was always meant to be. Oh sure, Xav came and filled in for a week, but now it's time to get back to business for real and for true. This week we have got a brand new heap of questions. It seems quite a few folks are curious about the new 60GB Xbox 360. Another reader wants to know what happened to all of our swag (hint: E3). Finally, we deal with the controversial topics of IPTV and inversion. Read on.

With Richard on vacation a few things were left hanging in the air. What will come of the Fancast this week? Well, it was put on hold so we all could rest. Who will force us to work? Well, we're all drinking lots of coffee to stay awake. What will happen to Ask X3F? Well, about that ...Loyal readers will know that the last time one of us tried to do an Ask X3F segment the response wasn't exactly positive. But we decided that answering your growing list of emails was more important than anything else so we decided to go ahead (with Richard's approval of course) and take over this week. We assure you Richard will be back to answer all your Xbox-related concerns soon but in the mean time it's Xav's turn to get hated on for doing Richard's weekly feature. This week we cover everything from lost cables to niche games (like Oneechanbara in the image above) not making it Stateside. Read it, learn it, love it. Also, keep all possible flaming creative for bonus points.Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? This week, we've got questions (and answers) about XBLA release dates, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith guitar compatibility, and achievement tracking. As an added bonus, depending on your point of view, we don't have one question about Halo 3 toys this week. We know, it feels weird to us too. Read on, knowledge seekers!Got a question for Ask X3F? This is it. This is the 26th episode of Ask X3F. We've been doing this for half a year now. In fact, we missed a week at least once, so we've been doing it even longer. It seems like only yesterday when we were answering questions on Christmas morning. Ah, memories. But enough of this sentimental codswallop! It's time to answer some questions. This week we answer queries about Xbox 360 memory units, the DRM tool and box art. Oh, and we should mention this is also the first edition of Ask X3F to include not one, but two haiku poems. Don't bother yourself with silly questions about how (or why) there are haikus in a question and answer column. Just read the column and enjoy it.Got a question for Ask X3F? After a one week hiatus, Ask X3F returns once again. Where was it last week? Frankly, there just weren't enough questions (or too many questions we aren't equipped to answer). Even this week's batch of questions is fairly small. Still, we must press on, and so we have. With so many editions of Ask X3F come and gone, one would think that we would have answered them all by now. But no, man is a curious creature, a creature whose thirst for knowledge will not be slaked. Also, it turns out, people just love asking questions about unreleased games. The most recent game-du-semaine is none other than The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. Announced just over a year ago, it missed its projected 2007 release and sank into obscurity. This week, we boldly explore the Xbox 360's lack of mutli-person private chat, overscan problems, and the absence of Bionic Commando: Rearmed. We also do our best to start the Guitar Hero IV versus Rock Band 2 flamewar months and months (possibly even years) in advance.
