Having heard the cries of the internet, the Happy Seamstress has revealed the secrets of her baby-sized Link costume. The pattern that sent our desire for a spawn into overdrive is now available -- for free. The incredibly detailed instructions should now immediately be given to your friend with +3 knitting skill. You can also leave a donation for the pattern on the Happy Seamstress' site. The outfit appears to take a little time to complete and we understand that making a baby usually takes about nine months, if you want to make one of your own. Wait, what? It requires two people? That complicates things.Source -- Happy SeamstressSource -- Baby Link pattern [Warning: PDF link][Thanks, Maggie]

You want to watch the paternal instincts of a bunch of guys instantly kick in like their desire for s'mores over an open fire? Then show them this adorable knit baby-sized Link costume. Oh my gawd, who doesn't want a little baby now?! Not only that, but the quiver holds the baby bottle. It's all toooooo cute. We want an office baby now. Craftster.org user UpKnitCreek created this as a baby shower gift ... and we're totally jealous of the recipient. We're currently trying to get in contact with UpKnitCreek to see if we can get the pattern. Not that we'd know what to do with it, but we're sure somebody else does -- and then we want one! We haven't been this impressed with a knitting project since the Guitar Hero scarf.

We had no idea that we needed a new system case adorned with undead bees before today, but this latest creation from craftster Mimi helped us identify that missing vital component of our gaming life. She has also created a similar pouch with a Kokeshi doll theme, which you can fawn over in our gallery below.Mimi's pricing for the two items have a bit of sting of them -- £13.99 each (approx. $27.70), plus shipping from the UK -- but it's to be expected with a lovable honeycomb print like this. In addition to inside pockets and popper closures, the cases feature soft felt lining to keep your DS Lite cozy. Really, it's the zombee's knees.%Gallery-28263%

  • World of WarCrafts: What would Thrall sleep in?

Even a Warchief has to sleep sometimes but his bedding has to be totally awesome for him to do so. I think that these sheets and blankets would certainly fit that bill and make even the mighty Thrall sleep well at night. Made by a girlfriend of a WoWer these sheets are any Hordey's dream. (Get it...dream, sheets?) To make your own Horde sheet all you need are some acrylic or fabric paints, plain sheets a stencil you can make yourself and a sponge or sponge brush. Assuming you can find or create a picture of the Horde logo (is it called a logo?) you can pretty easily print out a template. There are some tips on making your own stencil later on in the comments.

Today I want to show you one of the fan crafts that are being made by other WoW fans. While I love to craft this is something that I doubt I'll ever be able to create. Saturn over on the Craftster forums made this Night Elf lady on her mount. Made entirely of sculpy (craft clay) this lovely Night Elf seems to have gotten herself the Swift Zulian Tiger from Zul'Gurub since this tiger is a little more orange than the typical Frostsabers the Night Elves get. I think she must be pretty uber leet too because she is hardly wearing anything and from what I have gathered the armor gets less and less....there as the game goes on. She must be a hunter too because it looks like a high end mail set to me. This just goes to show you just how creative you WoWers can get.

  • Swaddle your DS in a homemade pouch

We love it when people make artifacts to celebrate their love of games. We're fanboys (it's right there in the name!) so we totally understand DS fetishism. We're guilty of it ourselves! One of the most practical ways to combine craft and gaming is the homemade DS case. Craftster member MariskaLovesCrafts designed this striking DS Lite pouch with a nice little pocket for games, and we love it. We love the pocket, we (unapologetically) love the floral design, and we love the colors. Mariska went on to write up a tutorial for the pouch, which she then posted to her blog. Why not give it a try, if you're looking for a DS Lite case? We'll remind you that you aren't forced to use the color scheme and floral motif here, so feel free to make something more macho to keep your DS scratch-free. Perhaps an Elite Beat Agents theme?
