Much like last week, this week doesn't have much to offer in the way of retail games. But, all is not lost, for there is several downloadable games to choose from, with two new WiiWare games and one new Virtual Console game available. Head past the break for the full list of gaming content available to Wii owners this week.%Gallery-39000%

Hudson's Snowboard Riot has what we think is a much cooler name for its Japanese release: Board Warriors. Famitsu has new screens of the game, one of three contemporaneous online WiiWare games from Hudson, and it looks -- kinda like Mario Kart on a snowboard! Well, in that it's a multiplayer race with wacky items. If you think items are ridiculous, the game also features an item-free "Stoic Mode" (we think that's the translation) in both online and offline play. Snowboard Riot BOARD WARRIORS is expected in Japan next month. In other Hudson WiiWare news, the company sent a press release containing a bunch of new screens of Pool Revolution: Cue Sports, which we're just going to call CUE WARRIORS. %Gallery-36618%%Gallery-39000%

Four new WiiWare titles came down the tubes in Europe and Australia today, and the selection couldn't be more diverse. Art Style: Cubello and Strong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands you'll already know about, but CueSports and Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam are more mysterious beasts. The former looks promising, the latter, er, not particularly great, according to the few reviews that are about.Art Style: Cubello -- WiiWare -- 600 Wii PointsCueSports -- Snooker vs. Billiards -- WiiWare -- 800 Wii PointsStrong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands -- WiiWare -- 1000 Wii PointsYummy Yummy Cooking Jam -- WiiWare -- 1000 Wii PointsFootage of all these is past! The Japanese Virtual Console releases this week are all relatively obscure. The most recognizable name in the lineup is Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and even that is the Master System version. These Master System Sonic games, by the way, aren't just ports of the Genesis games. They're basically original Sonic games from back when it was possible for those to be good! The other games are a very early (the arcade version predates Super Mario Bros.) sidescrolling platformer-RPG and an upgraded Qix game. Dragon Buster (Famicom, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Master System, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Volfied (PC Engine, 1 player, 600 Wii Points) Just one WiiWare release, and it's Hudson's online pool game. Hopefully it isn't terrible, because Wi-Fi pool with four players sounds like an awesome deal for five bucks. Cue Sports Wi-Fi Taisen Billiards (1-4 players, 500 Wii Points)
