This is it, folks. Time to make those holiday gift cards count. If you're an owner of the 32GB Wii U Deluxe console, you've got one more day to earn bonus eShop credit in Nintendo's Deluxe Digital promotion. The promotion rewards Wii U Deluxe owners with credit for making purchases on the Wii U eShop. Specifically, owners can get 10 percent of their purchases back in eShop credit. If you've been waiting to make any eShop purchases, or if this is the first you've heard of the promotion, tomorrow marks your last day to earn points. Points earned via the promotion can be exchanged for eShop credit until March 31, 2015. You can find the relevant details on the promotion's website. [Image: Nintendo]

If you purchased a Wii U Deluxe (that's the black one with 32GB of onboard storage) at any point since the console's November 18, 2012 launch, you're eligible for Nintendo's Deluxe Digital promotion, which awards 10 percent of all digital purchases back to the buyer in the form of eShop credit. Unfortunately for anyone just hearing of the deal, that rebate is about to come to an end. "The deadline for earning points in the Deluxe Digital Promotion is December 31, 2014," reads an "Important News" bulletin at the promotion's website. "Only eligible purchases or eligible download codes used in Nintendo eShop for Wii U before December 31, 2014 will qualify for this promotion." Fortunately, Nintendo is not entirely shuttering the promotion at the end of the year. Anyone with sufficient points remaining in their Deluxe Digital account to earn eShop credit will be able to make the exchange until March 31, 2015. If a copy of Nintendo Land, 32GB of internal memory and a black paint job weren't enough for you to drop an extra $50 for the Wii U Deluxe Set, Nintendo's hoping fresh details on its Deluxe Digital Promotion will further sweeten the pot. When deluxe console owners buy a game through the firm's eShop or purchase a download code at a brick-and-mortar store, they'll receive roughly 10 percent of the price in points. For example, gamers will net 599 points for a title with a $59.99 price tag. For every 500 points, users can snag a code redeemable for $5 in eShop credit useable on the Wii U or 3DS digital storefronts. The house that Mario built will keeping track of points between the system's launch day and December 31st, 2014, but won't issue credits until the promotion's website launches sometime in December. Look out below for more details in the press release.
