Here's FFXIV's PS4 launch trailer
It's Final Fantasy XIV's launch day... on the PlayStation 4. Square's fantasy MMO reboot -- and Massively's 2013 MMO of the year -- has been dazzling gamers on the PC and the PlayStation 3 for some time now, but a new trailer reminds us that next-gen console owners can now join in the fun. Here's Final Fantasy XIV's 2.2 trailer
Square has released an eight-minute trailer for Final Fantasy XIV's 2.2 patch. Titled Through the Maelstrom, the clip shows off a boss fight with The Whorleater along with new hairstyles, gardening, a fishing update, hard-mode versions of existing dungeons, and more. Here's an eight-minute look at Final Fantasy XIV's housing
Who wants to know about Final Fantasy XIV's upcoming player housing system? I see a bunch of raised hands, and luckily for all ya'll, MMO Culture has a pretty enlightening video on the subject. The thing is eight minutes long, in fact, and it shows everything from housing styles and house placement to exterior modifications and yard clutter. Strangely there's no interior footage, but with any luck we'll see some of that in short order. Click past the cut for the full clip.

There is a catch, and it is that the entire 13-minute video is in Japanese. Still, you can get glimpses of the game's character creation, crafting, job system, armory, and more. Square releases FFXIV fashion video
Square is teasing Final Fantasy XIV fans with a quick look at some of the game's armor sets. A new video called Eorzea Collection 2013 was recently linked on the FFXIV Facebook page, and it's basically an Eorzean fashion show with the game's various outdoor environments subbing for the typical runway. New Final Fantasy XIV job action trailer sighted in the wild
Square has released a brand-spanking new trailer for its Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn reboot. The three-minute clip centers on job actions, which is another way of saying three minutes of various classes standing in place showing off various attacks. Let's see, there's the Paladin, the Warrior, the Monk, the White Mage, the Dragoon, and the Bard. Oh, and there's the Black Mage. Never forget the Black Mage. Also, don't forget that this is beta footage, according to the big disclaimer on the front-end of the video which you can see after the cut. [Thanks Lauren!]
