That's probably not Samsung's foldable phone
Showcasing an array of Samsung innovations that haven't happened yet, a video reportedly posted then pulled by Samsung Vietnam showed a foldable phone in use. Around the 23-second mark, a woman unfurls a folding Galaxy phone minus the unwieldy casing we saw on Samsung's Infinity Flex display revealed at SDC 2018. Both the Galaxy S10 series and... whatever Samsung titles its debut foldable phone are meant to appear at Samsung's Unpacked event scheduled for February 20th. So an accidental leak a few weeks before might not shock. But I'm not sure this is it.

The Galaxy Note 8 vs. the Note 7: What's changed?
Last year the Galaxy Note 7 was actually one of our favorite phones until it started exploding, so we're happy to see Samsung's line of large-screen-with-stylus handsets make its return today with the Note 8. While it would have been easy enough to simply change out the battery and call it a new model, there are a few other changes worth noting. That includes the dual camera, which we've never seen in a Samsung phone before, and the Note now comes packed with AI assistant Bixby. While we certainly hope you turned in your Note 7 during the recall, check out our chart below to see what upgrades await if you pick up a Note 8 when it comes out, as well as if this new phone has the potential to become one of our faves of 2017.
Samsung teases an August 13th event with a big, curvy Galaxy
That rumor of Samsung holding a phone event in August to beat Apple to the punch? At least some of it is true. The Korean tech giant has announced a second Galaxy Unpacked event that will take place in New York City on August 13th. It's not saying much about what's in store, but the curvy, imposing profile in the teaser image hints at the upsized Galaxy S6 Edge+ that we've seen in leaks -- and of course, the Galaxy Note line is nearly due for its yearly refresh. Whatever shows up, you can be sure that we'll be there to give you a closer look.
