  • The Queue: Valor points and Wite-Out spills

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today. When Jaina's new white hair was first revealed on her character model, I thought it looked ridiculous. Over time, though, I think I'm getting used to it. I still wish the border of white and blonde matched the flow of her hair better, it looks like an unfortunate Wite-Out spill at the moment, but it doesn't seem quite as bad to me as it once did. Eh! @urban_infection asked: What should we do now that VP will not be reset? Spend them or save them?

  • Officers' Quarters: A gkicked player takes revenge

Every Monday, Scott Andrews contributes Officers' Quarters, a column about the ins and outs of guild leadership. He is the author of The Guild Leader's Handbook, available from No Starch Press. Here at OQ, I receive emails all the time about people acting like jerks. Jerks are everywhere, and MMOs certainly have their fair share. Of all the jerks I've heard about, the player from this week's email has to be among the all-time worst. Fortunately, his terrible behavior has a bright side: By sharing this guild's story, other officers can avoid the same fate. From the start one of our members started to complain about the guild at the start of raiding early cata. However the officers and GM has brush it off as him being annoyed at the game because he hated the expansion. Things went from bad to worst when we started Firelands. He started to make plans to overthrow the GM of the guild and made fun behind him. He complains the GM is never there supporting the guild because he took a month off due to work reasons. He made fun of our progression even though we manage to get at least 1 heroic mode down. When we got to dragon soul he stop raiding with us all together. Which is fine because our guild is a casual raiding guild and members are free to choose to raid or not. However he complains even more that people in the guild are stupid and we won't ever progress. It got to the point where we kicked him from the guild but the problem didn't stop there.

We're very excited to unveil a brand-new feature here at Massively: our Massively site on Enjin! This is your central location for all the extras -- our chat room (which will replace the current IRC setup), events calendar, voice server information, and forum. We still love it when you comment directly on the news and columns via our comment system, but if you want a more in-depth discussion beyond that -- or to leave suggestions on various aspects of Massively -- our shiny new forums are the place for that. Even better, we're so excited about this new feature that we've arranged to share it with you! Enjin has a pile of cool features in its guild and clan hosting packages: Mumble voice servers; forums; event calendars; application and recruitment systems; personalized guild, clan, and gaming themes; multi-game support; and much more. Sound good? We hope so, because we have four one-year Enjin hosting packages to give away! One guild will win an ultimate package, and three others will each receive a premium package. To enter, send us an email telling us how you'd use a year of free guild hosting. Tell us a little about your guild, what premium and ultimate Enjin features you love, and which ones your guild will use the most. Include a screenshot of your guild and the subject line "Enjin contest," and you are entered! You have until next Wednesday, April 13th at 11:59 p.m. EDT to get your entry in. We'll announce the winning guilds on Thursday, April 14th, so read over our contest rules, get those entries in, and best of luck!

  • The Guild Counsel: New Year's resolutions

This past year for me has been the best year of my guild-leading life, primarily because I'm surrounded by terrific players who are also terrific people. We've had times when key members step away from raiding, and immediately I'll have several members volunteer to roll up new characters to fill the void and meet class needs. We've had issues, as all guilds do, and we have had disagreements, but I'm guilded with people who are classy enough and level-headed enough to understand the big picture and give the benefit of the doubt. As I raise my glass to toast my guildmates, I also look forward to next year. As guild leaders know, you can never rest on your laurels, and I have several New Year's resolutions. Read on to see what I hope to accomplish, and then share your resolutions for 2011.

15 Minutes of Fame is our look at World of Warcraft players of all shapes and sizes – from the renowned to the relatively anonymous, the remarkable to the player next door. Tip us off to players you'd like to hear more about. Playing WoW is an exercise in organization. You need to organize your bank, you bags, your gear, even your talents. You need to plan which dailies you need today, which factions you're grinding and where you need to farm for what. Oh, and don't forget to check your banker and update your auctions.Legend of the Alliance from Eonar-EU has ridden methodical organization from scratch to the top of the PvE game. The two-year-old guild has climbed from a chatty, rag-tag gaggle of newbies to a lean raiding organization thanks to careful planning and guidance. We visited with GM Loverose about the guild's history, its custom web site functionality, and the mature, methodical leadership that has steered its course.
