Citing past blunders by Nintendo in the N64 and GameCube days, Billy Berghammer makes an ample case against the house the Italian plumber built. We admit we have taken a ride or twenty aboard the hype train when it came to Nintendo, but following their utter dominance at E3 and the entertaining time we had with the Wii while in attendance, can we be blamed? Also, given the console's lack of horsepower compared to its competition like the GameCube during the last generation wars, will consumers be willing to pay for a ride on Nintendo's roller coaster come launch? Only time will tell...

According to a forum post over at the official Nintendo boards, the latest issue of Game Informer will have a piece on Call of Duty 3 where it is said that online multiplayer for the game will feature 24 player matches via Xbox Live on the 360 and PS3 online for the PS3. The Wii, however, will support the lowered number of participants by allowing only up to 16 players to battle over Wi-Fi. Now, without a scan or any other kind of corroboration with the initial post, we're forced to chalk this up to rumor at the moment and will update you as news further develops.[Update: Go Nintendo received word that the information is in fact in the magazine, but is a misprint. Instead, the grim truth is that the game will feature no online multiplayer support on the Wii. Thanks Marc!]

Some of the first details on the upcoming Need for Speed: Carbon have made their way to your eager eyes, by way of the latest issue of Game Informer magazine. Being billed as half NFS: Underground and half NFS: Most Wanted, the game will feature police chases along with the customization system that existed in the Underground titles. The single-player experience will be new, however, as the player is now charged with taking over territories. Three different maps will have players racing for command over seven different territories within each map.Another new addition to the formula is Canyon Racing. In these races, the track is narrow and you must fight for track with other competitors, racing along huge drop offs that present the danger of a long fall followed by fiery demise. There is also a team-based mode in the works for the game, but no details have been revealed on that as of this time.

Honestly, how easy is it to write up a random prediction about news that will be located in a magazine, which since the internet have become pretty obsolete, and call is a scoop? Well, we here at Nintendo Wii Fanboy have a bit more integrity than that and are happy to report we've come across the scoop of a life time that we're ready to reveal, courtesy of a leaked issue of Nintendo Power, set to release in two months, in which Shigeru Miyamoto confirms that he enjoys muffins.Blueberry, to be exact. Now that's journalism, baby!
