Sebastien Rubens is a former Sony employee that called the SCEE Technology Group home. Now that he no longer works with folks behind PlayStation, he's more than happy to share a few pointers with regards to how the company conducts business. He's mainly concerned with the PSP SDK and the platform's submission process, he told Edge Online. Rubens said the PSP needs an improved SDK and even lauds the iPhone's over it, calling it flat-out "better." He goes on to say that things could be easier to use on the platform, and that SCEE is "slow to move" during the submission process. Rubens has a unique view, having been on both sides -- he left SCEE to start up Anozor, which recently published the PSN title, No Gravity.

No Gravity: The Plague of Mind just released last week in North America and it will hit the PSN today in Europe. Little is known about this homebrew-turned-commercial space shooter, but we're here to shed some light on Realtech-VR's latest as we go hands-on with the title. So strap your boots to the ground, we're going into No Gravity. The overall feeling one gets from No Gravity is laced with modesty. Its a simple game, one where its homebrew roots are clearly evident. Its production values may not be as high as the Triple-A, big-name studio titles, but it does do a pretty good job at putting out a worthy shooter. The game may lack FMVs and the story is told through stills, but the controls are smooth and easy to pick up. %Gallery-45388%

What's better than pictures? How about a moving picture? The first official trailer for the upcoming PSN download No Gravity has appeared on the web, and it confirms what we've seen from the stills: it's pretty. Right now, it's only confirmed for a European PSN release in August, but seeing the RP logo from the ESRB has us confident that this will hit the States not too far off in the future. [Via PPGN]

Like Galaxy's End and The Black Corsair, No Gravity is a PSP game that's looking for a publisher. Unlike the other two efforts, however, the developers of No Gravity are asking PSP homebrew users to download and try their game. This 3D space shooter comes from a team called Realtech VR. The final version of the game has a planned 55 missions, "with diverse objectives ranging from destroying enemy ships or base, escorting allied ships, clearing the mine field, etc."To download the homebrew-only demo, and learn more about the game, visit their website.
