Click for high-resolution image. That might be an overstatement, but at least for one guy (the unlucky soul pictured above) it's truth. We've been bashing Project Origin on at least two occasions in the past, but this time we're not going to. The above picture is impressive. If such graphical detail of fluids flying in the air can be pulled off in the actual game engine, then we're going to have to change the tune we're singing. Too gory perhaps? Just think of it this way -- that's not actual blood, it's Kool-Aid. Besides, this is the only screenshot in this new batch that's like this. The others are well-tamed. Have a look at those pics in the gallery below, and then check out a video clip showing off more in-game environments after the break. The environments still look so-so, but hey, can't win them all. %Gallery-21936%

Yet again, we're unmoved by these Project Origin videos. The game just doesn't seem interesting. What's making us feel this way, we're not sure. We can't seem to pinpoint exactly where this feeling of apathy is coming from. Maybe it's the imagery, maybe it's the music; maybe it's the lack of voice-overs in the clips. Possibly. One thing is certain, however -- these trailers are trying to convey that Project Origin is a suspense-filled ride, and to some degree, scary. While that's what these trailers are trying to tell us, we're getting a whole different message entirely: mediocre.

There's not much we can say about this new trailer for Project Origin. We're neither impressed nor dissatisfied; we're in a state of indifference and apathy. Perhaps that's really quite a horrible thing -- even worse than having extremely negative comments. At least with negativity, there's some sort of invested emotion into what is being made. What does this mean for this F.E.A.R. sequel? Things are looking rather banal; there's nothing new or exciting. Could be just us, though. Is this how you feel when you watch this trailer?
