Age of Wushu: Transcendence coming on January 14th
Is one of your new year's resolutions to become a martial arts master? Then you'll want to take advantage of the unveiled teachings of Age of Wushu: Transcendence when the patch lands on January 14th. The content update will unlock the fifth level of inner skill and make high-level manuals available, transforming players into formidable fighters. Players can use these new abilities to tackle the three additional forbidden instances coming to the game: Hell King's Dungeon, the Jinling Incident, and the Qiandeng Crisis.
What's on your HDTV: 'Transcendence,' 'Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark' and 'Soundclash'
Yup, it's summer. In case the weather wasn't a tipoff, you can tell from Syfy's slew of made for TV movies hitting the screen, including this week's shocker Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark. The headlining monsters were already made for previous movies, so maybe this time the filmmakers used their budget on good actors, a decent script or better special effe...on second thought probably not, but if you're curious you can watch the whole thing right now on Netflix. While we're still checking out other shows in the genre like Extant and The Strain, there are other options. ESPN has a documentary on cycling great Greg LeMond airing Tuesday night, while CBS Sports is bringing highlights from a huge sports tournament you've probably never heard of: The Commonwealth Games. The Roots drummer/bandleader Questlove is producing a new show on VH1 called Soundclash that mixes up different bands on one stage -- we'll give it one shot as the first episode on Wednesday features Fall Out Boy, T.I. and London Grammar. Patch 3.2.2 PTR: New Onyxia loot revealed
Onyxia's loot is coming into focus on the test server, and we here at WoW.com's secret headquarters are pretty much sitting here drooling and gabbling incoherently over it. As promised, we're seeing the promised buffed up Onyxia loot, but it looks like Onyxia's been doing some raiding of her own, coming back with upgraded versions of some other classic raid loot as well. Also, the Quel'serrar is back.The promised helms are in, and so far, it looks like they're the same color and model as the old T2 exactly, and they are still class restricted. Luckily, they have stuck with the improved itemization and stat outlays that have come into play since vanilla. In fact, you'll exactly see multiple versions of many helms dropping, one for each basic playstyle of the class. For example, there's tanking, healing, and DPS versions of Judgment. If there's one downside for this, it seems like it means it may take a lot of runs until you see the helm for your exact spec drop.
