Apple Store grand openings: Your reports
Earlier today, Apple opened retail stores in the UK and Hawaii. As usual, we asked any TUAW operatives who may have attended to share their reports and/or pictures. Apple Store WestQuay opens this weekend
Apple plans to open a new retail store this Saturday, February 10th at 10:00 AM in Southampton. The Apple Store is located on the Upper Shopping level of WestQuay. You can find complete travel directions here. As usual, the first 1000 visitors will be rewarded with commemorative t-shirts. Visitors can also enter to win what Apple is calling "Digital Lifestyle Collection," worth more than £1700. Apple Store Southampton on the way?
No, not Southampton, Ma. I'm talking about the WestQuay at Southampton in the UK. A quick search for retail positions in the UK on Apple's job search page reveals Southampton in the list of possible locations, though no positions are currently listed. When open, this will be the UK's seventh Apple Store.[Via Macworld UK]
