The Delta II cellphone keyboard

Delta II cellphone keyboard

It seems like every few months we hear about yet another new keyboard layout for cellphones that manages to squeeze the entire alphabet into the space of a regular numeric keypad (the Fastap, anyone?), but apart from the Treo 600, we have yet to see any of them actually go on sale. You'd think that manufacturers would be falling over themselves trying to give people something better to tap out text messages than what we have now. Anyway, the latest to show up is the Delta II from Chicago Logic, which uses smaller keys and a modified QWERTY layout to fit the entire alphabet in there.
