Five new cellphones from DoCoMo
DoCoMo today rolled out its 901i range of FOMA handsets. There's not much likely to leave phonegeeks bleeding from the ears, as they mostly involve tweaks to models in the previous 900i range, but we do get a bump up to 2-megapixel cameras all round, 3D sound and graphics, and the ill-advised addition of a colour called Shiny Brown. According to TV news reports the "3D sound" does work pretty well (in the sense that it gives you stereo sound, which isn't how the dictionary defines "3D", but whatever). We're passing on these and holding out for the "PDA-style" phones that Motorola is building for DoCoMo for 1Q05.
