Syntax announces 42-inch Olevia LT42HVi LCD TV with ATSC+HDMI
Syntax Groups has just announced their latest Olevia LCD TV, a 42-inch model (their biggest yet) with both an ATSC HDTV tuner and HMDI (both firsts for Syntax). The 16:9 aspect ratio set has a 1366 x 768 native resolution, 8 ms response time, 1200:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and 800 nits brightness. It also comes with two detachable 25-watt speakers that can either be mounted on sides or bottom of the monitor or ditched in your closet if you just want to use your 5.1 setup (can we make a rule right now that all monitor speakers should be detachable?). Retail price will be $3699 when it streets in June.
