librieLooks like there may be a way to pick up an English-language version of the Sony Librie ebook reader after all. Dynamism — distributors of many a gray-market Japanese product — is selling a gadget that they advertise as having an "English OS." Details are sketchy on their site, and we're not about to shell out $479 to see how well this works (it could just be a version of the English firmware hack we reported on earlier) — though it is tempting. Dynamism is also including a utility to convert PDFs into the Librie's proprietary format — something that's a necessity, since there are no currently no English ebooks availble for the reader.
