TV helps capture HDTV thieves
Note to self: if stealing any HDTV equipment, check to see if there are TV cameras in vicinity. Sounds like a good maxim, no? Too bad that I didn't post this before three Florida teens were caught on tape stealing $30k worth of home entertainment equipment including two high-def plasma sets.
Turns out that the teens weren't caught until the local media was provided the videotape of the crime. Hey, you knuckleheads: don't you know that Ft. Myers has network affiliates for CBS, NBC, ABC, WB and Fox that are digital now? In case you missed the "news flash", digital is like boatloads clearer dudes. Even a crappy videotape looks pretty good, wouldn't you three say?
