With the release of today's patch by Blizzard, cross-realm battlegrounds are now an option in World of Warcraft. With patch 1.12, players will be able to battle other characters on separate servers for the first time (hopefully cutting down on queue times). There have been a number of other significant changes to WoW with the patch, including: Threat reduction effects, Haste and Slow effects, and a few class changes.
For Mac users, we thought this was a nice touch:
Added support for controlling iTunes from within World of Warcraft. You can bind a set of keys for play/pause, next track, back track and volume up and down.
Check after the break for a full list of changes.
