Around Azeroth: Gnome airfield
Reader Ajax from realm Skullcrusher sends in this shot of the Gnome airfield up above Ironforge. (From where he's standing, you can see the runway and rows of little Gnomish airplanes below him in the snow.) It used to be easy to get up here, before Blizzard decided that "cliffwalking" (running up against impossibly steep cliffs until you managed to move up) wasn't something they wanted and removed it from the game. Ajax tells us this shot was taken a few months ago and that it's still possible to get there, though I'm not sure how these days. (Anyone want to enlighten me?)
