Mutant Storm Empire squishes onto XBLA Wed.
Taking advantage of the obvious Halloween marketing opportunity, the Xbox Live folks just announced (although, we remember hearing something last week) that Mutant Storm Empire will be this week's only Xbox Live Arcade release. Because, you know, nothing says Halloween better than zombies, UFOs, robots and generally icky creatures.
Onto the details. Pom Pom Games' Mutant Storm Empire will be downloadable off the Marketplace Wednesday, October 31st for 800 Microsoft points and include such features as seamless loading, offline co-op, online multiplayer and around 16 levels of shooting mayhem. Yes sir, eight out of ten gaming enthusiasts agree that Mutant Storm Empire will knock you flat ... but in an enjoyable Donnie Darko kind of way.
