Gather up all your extra Classic Controllers and GameCube controllers. They are about to get seriously ruined, thanks to the arrival of Mario Party 2 on Virtual Console -- the first Nintendo-published Virtual Console game to arrive since June. If Nintendo 64 minigame collections aren't your thing, you can download Frobot on WiiWare, a top-down Zelda-style action game, with robots. And disco.

DSiWare gets Dragon's Lair 2, almost a year to the day after the first Dragon's Lair hit the service ... and a month after Dragon's Lair arrived on DS cartridge.

WiiWare

  • Frobot (Fugazo, 1-4 players, 1,000 Wii Points): Take on the Man as a dancing, funky robot with disco-inspired weapons.
  • Demo: Frobot (Fugazo, 1-4 players, 0 Wii Points): Try on the Fro for free.
  • Inkub (Cosmonaut Games, 1 player, 500 Wii Points): Use various heavy weapons to prevent bacteria and other organisms from attacking incubators full of eggs.
Virtual Console
  • Mario Party 2 (N64, 1-4 players, 1,000 Wii Points): Compete with your friends on five different "Adventure Boards" including Pirate Land, Western Land, and Horror Land.
DSiWare
  • Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp (Digital Leisure, 1 player, 800 DSi Points): Search for Princess Daphne using a faulty time machine.
  • Cosmo Fighters (Abylight, 1-4 players, 500 DSi Points): Combo-based competitive fighting for up to four players. You can send out a Download Play demo for multiplayer.
  • Paul's Monster Adventure (Agetec, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): Bring food to the starving "bosses" of a monster land, while fighting off ... other monsters ... with a hammer.
  • Just Sing! Christmas Vol. 2 (Publisher, player, DSi Points): Gather your family around your DS for some carolin'.
