It lasts an hour, but the item only has a 10-second cooldown. It'll work all the way through the WoW's two-week seventh anniversary celebration, so click that sucker!

Also, do you think Blizzard will add a 'Hide Shoulders' option with transmog coming out?
No. Blizzard is pretty adamant about shoulders being part of the game's visual style. Shoulders are also the only equipment besides weapons and helms to have unique geometry, so it makes sense that Blizzard would want them to be on display whenever possible.

After looking at the list that someone made that showed what each class was losing and gaining in MoP, I was very dismayed that my main character is a Disc Priest.
Losing: Renew, Heal, Binding Heal, Divine Hymn, Mind Blast, Devouring Plague, and Atonement.
Gaining: Pushback reduction.
Do you think this is possibly intended, or were the Bizzard proof-readers on vacation when they posted the talent calculator?
Blizzard stated recently that there are missing abilities in the calculator due to bugs. I wouldn't worry about missing abilities too much right now.
