Kickstarter Indie Bundle seeks funding for nine games

We've heard of indie bundles and indie Kickstarters, but a Kickstarter indie bundle? It's true! The Kickstarter Indie Bundle was started by one Evgeniy Kolpakov so that "developers from around the world could pool their talents to create a project and provide a value bundle to donators interested in supporting their indie efforts."

The project seeks to fund nine different games, ranging in genre from horror to puzzler, dating sim and ... golf platformer. The games are aimed at multiple platforms including PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and possibly even the PS Vita (though not all games are planned for all platforms).

There are lots of special rewards up for grabs. High-level donors will have characters named after them, or have their names featured in a game. At the $10,000 level, a single donor can actually propose any reward, with the developers noting that "all reasonable requests will be honored." Or, if you don't feel like paying $10,000 to watch indie developers dive into a pool of spaghetti – because, really, that's the only reasonable request – you could always just donate $20 to receive all the games as they're completed.

Check out the project's Kickstarter page for more info. You can also follow the project's progress on Twitter.

Nine developers from around the world created a project to help fund their nine indie games that they are currently working on.
Seattle, WA – July 30, 2012 - The developers behind the KickStarter Indie Bundle are pleased to announce their new crowdfunding project.
The KickStarter Indie Bundle started with an idea from Evgeniy Kolpakov. Developers from around the world could pool their talents to create a project and provide a value bundle to donators interested in supporting their indie efforts.
The indie developers created a highly diverse game bundle with genres ranging from 3D horror to visual novel, and platforms ranging from Android to the PS Vita. The developers' funding goal has been set at $45,000 and the pledges range from $5 to $10,000. Rewards vary from the actual games themselves to the integration of project backers into various aspects of the developers' actual games. Backers can save up to 85% on these games by donating now. For $10,000, the developers have stated that a backer can propose any reward, and that all reasonable requests will be honored.

The bundle is currently underway. More information can be found on its crowdfunding page at
