WoW Moviewatch: The Roleplayers of Cenarion Circle
I'm generally a fan of server trailers. It's exciting to see a community come together and promote their server, inviting fellow WoW players to come take part in the shenanigans. It is, in general, exactly the kind of behavior we love to see. Sever trailers tap into all the best things about the game.
This one felt a little odd to me, though. It's essentially an 8-minute video of names and cameos. Now, don't get me wrong: it's a really well done 8-minute list of names and cameos. The animation is keen, the song is rousing, and the letters are shockingly non-repetitious. But the trailer feels more like a role call (get it?) than a trailer, which maybe was the point.
Still, check it out. It's pretty awesome to see a community put out like this, so it's worth a few minutes of your time.
