Looking for Guild: More FFXIV, DCUO

It was another successful week in the land of LFG as we saw connections between guildies and guild leaders for Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2, and The Secret World. It was also great to see so many positive comments in last week's article! I do plan to revisit any uncontacted submissions in future round-ups, most likely based on particular games as themes. So, for example, I may have a Lord of the Rings Online week where I repost all LFG entries that didn't find a guild yet in that game.

Here's how it works: If you're looking for a guild, simply send an email to shawn@massively.com with the subject line "LFG" and tell me the following:

• The name of your game of choice

• Your usual play times (day and time of day)

• Your main character class

• Any alt classes you enjoy

• Your preferred playstyle

• What you would bring to a guild

• Your main character name or contact name in-game (will not be published)

The following week, I will post all submissions, minus the last question. If you're a guild leader or officer who is interested in pursuing someone you see in the column, you'll simply email me at the above address with the subject line "LFM - (Game name here)" and I will act as the liaison between the guild and the guild-seeker. That way, no contact info will be made public and connections can proceed in-game (or over email, if you choose) at the discretion of the submitter.

Game: Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
Usual play times: Monday to Friday mid evenings, Saturday and Sunday sporadic throughout the day and weekend late night, east coast
Main character class: Warrior, Level 50
Any alt classes: Gladiator, Pugalist
Preferred play style: CasualCore. Small to medium group play.
What you would bring to a guild: Experienced tank, patience and willingness to learn, positive, helpful, and master of bad jokes.

Game:Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn -- Faerie Server
Usual play times: Depends on the day, usually at 15:00 -17:00 GMT -3 (Brazil)
Main character class: Pugilist
Any alt classes: Thaumaturge, for now
Preferred playstyle: Casual player, generally a solo player, just passed my first dungeon
What you would bring to a guild: I'm a friendly guy and I'm looking for other cool guys to talk and play with me (especially in dungeons).

Game:DCUO - USPC
Usual play times: Sometimes on workdays, during evening, GMT, and some afternoon and evening on weekends (same GMT), yes I'm a European playing on the US servers
Main character class: Controller/Light (cr93)
Any alt classes: DPS/Fire (cr77), Healer/Electric
Preferred playstyle: PvE, some Legends
What I bring: Though a casual player I take playing seriously. I like reaching goals (such as winning raids), while trying to keep a relaxed and fun approach to the game. This is a game after all. Caveats: Adult guild, please. I can play with younger people, but I am a family man with daily work duty, and I can't stay too long at night and don't like guilds where playtimes are assessed and people are ranked based on dedication. Also, I am not a native English-speaker.
