WRUP: One flu over the cuckoo's nest
The flu is here and even the sheltered, outside-averse team at Joystiq appears to be taking some hits. If you can recommend a good masseuse to rub away these aching muscles, that would be super swell. Also, good chicken soup recipes!
What's everyone playing this weekend?
Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski): Gotta take it easy. Probably some Skyrimming. I also need to get researching my Steam Box, which is just my super cool way of saying "a PC that boots into Big Picture and works like a console."
David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): No gaming for me this weekend – I've got family coming into town next week, so my weekend will mostly be cleaning and then cleaning the stuff I already cleaned again in a futile attempt to preemptively curb my mom's comments about the state of my life. Or maybe I'll just play XCOM all weekend because welcome to earth.
JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): Persona 4 Arena is a visual novel with an occasional fighting minigame between chapters. And I love it.
Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): I hope to be playing DmC on my brand new TV all weekend. This is the life, people.
Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): [...]
Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I've become horribly ensnared in Tokyo Jungle, the saddest and cutest of last year's roguelikes. If I'm out and about, I'll be yelling at the infernal Hundreds.
Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): If there's an achievement for covering CES with a flu, I earned it this week. To celebrate, I'll play some XCOM and my new obsession on iOS, Dungelot.
Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek): Did I beat FTL: Faster Than Light twice now? Yes. Will I continue playing it? Of course.
Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): I'm hoping to put some more time into Vagrant Story for an upcoming column. Beyond that, the only game I'm playing is the game of home improvement.
Sinan Kubba (@Shoinan): Not really feeling 2013 yet, so instead I'm going back to 2011 to finally play Mario Kart 7.
Steven Wong: I'll continue to cut my way through Assassin's Creed 3 this weekend.
Xav de Matos (@Xav): [...]
