DMC gets 'Vergil's Downfall' DLC on March 6, Bloody Palace out today


Capcom has put a date on the DmC: Devil May Cry DLC, "Vergil's Downfall." The new content will hit both PSN and Xbox Live on March 6. Vergil's Downfall features a new story and, most importantly, allows players to take control of Dante's brother Vergil, who packs new weapons and abilities and one mean, bushy mustache. The DLC will set you back $8.99 or 720 MSP.

In other teary-eyed Devil news, the free Bloody Palace DLC is available today. The DLC adds a new challenge mode featuring 100 levels.%Gallery-179318%

Vergil's Downfall and Bloody Palace Mode arrive for DmC Devil May Cry

We're pleased to confirm that DmC players will be able to add to their gameplay experience with the release of Vergil's Downfall PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE and PC across Europe on March 6th. Vergil's Downfall features hours of new gameplay, four difficulty levels and the opportunity to play as Vergil with an all new storyline, weapons, combos, enemies and locations. The additional content will be available to purchase for 720 Microsoft points and €8.99 on PSN and PC. Customers who pre-ordered DmC Devil May Cry at selected retailers and via the PlayStation Store in Europe will receive the content for free by simply redeeming the download codes that were provided via the retailer at launch.

Furthermore, Bloody Palace Mode returns to the Devil May Cry series today across Europe on PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE and PC completely free of charge. Gamers just need to apply the free update and on completion of DmC Devil May Cry will be able to access over 100 bonus levels of demons and enemies, including five brutal bosses.
