The Queue: I knew you were a goat

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Aaahhhhh!!

warsongraven asked:

Should I hold up on buying Justice Point Heirlooms until the patch comes out? I really want to level some of my alts that I have no BoAs for yet, but that 5 level gap on the new ones pushes me to wait. :/

Nope, you still need to trade in the original heirlooms to get the new ones, so buy 'em whenever you like.

FuzzyBunny61 asked:

I broke down and bought the first part of the new 5-part WoW book series...should I be ashamed?

Why would you be ashamed of buying a book?

wookiehowk asked:

Where did the single-player mode dungeons go? (iirc they were calling them proving grounds...) i was really looking forward to those

Last we heard, Proving Grounds were still in development. Contrary to popular belief, they weren't replaced with the Brawler's Guild.

dumbass asked:

How large is Azeroth compared to Earth lorewise, not in WoW (guesses and deductions from novels, quests, etc welcome). From the books that I've read, I'd say about 5% of Earth, no more.

You can do the math on it yourself if you like, but for scale, the Eastern Kingdoms are about the size of the isle of Manhattan.

paperdreams11 asked:

I saw a question on here once when someone asked why pandaren couldn't be paladins and the answer was because they have no concept of The Light. But they can be priests. Why is this? Is it just a gameplay thing? It really bugs me as a lore nerd.

Essentially, all paladins worship and utilize the Light, but every race (with the exception of humans and dwarves) have a different thing that "powers" their priesthood. Night elf priests, for example, believe that Elune is their source of power; and trolls, the loa. Neither of these races can be paladins because none believe in the Light.
