The Queue: Another Monday

Alex Ziebart

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

Welcome back to another Monday edition of The Queue, where I stare at my work in panic because nobody likes asking questions on Sunday!

Oh, well. We'll make do. Let's begin, shall we?

ArliSunblade1 asked:

Why do the chickens on Sunsong Ranch sometimes instantaneously combust and die? I'm a rogue, pretty sure it's nothing to do with me.

Those critters are extraplanar and exist across Sunsong Ranch phases. They're being killed by another player's AOE on their phase of the farm. You can't see the player, but you're both probably looking at the same chickens.

@AC_andstuff asked:

do you think blizzard is going to revamp outlands after MoP?

I'm sure Outland will be spruced up a little, but I don't know if we'll see something on the level of what Cataclysm did for old Azeroth. The developers admitted that the Cataclysm revamp was an overwhelming task. That doesn't mean they won't do anything like it ever again, but I would expect any Outland revamp to be less ambitious, with developer focus on the new territories added to the game rather than the old.

@tethriel asked:

is garrosh sha influenced or just merely a "bad apple". i have heard a couple different interpretations.

He's a bad apple. The question was asked in a developer Q&A recently and Dave Kosak confirmed it. Garrosh is corrupted by nobody but himself.

@depipin asked:

is anyone in-game aware of the nelves' trollish ancestry?

The in-game night elves have heard the theory and reject it as nonsense, because who wants to be descended from trolls? Gross.
