If price was the monster you feared in your quest to own CD Projekt RED's Witcher series, Steam has come to your rescue. Now through August 26, "enhanced editions" of both The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings are available for 75 percent off from Valve's digital storefront, priced at $2.49 and $4.99, respectively.

In case digital rights management emerges as another terror, CD Projekt's own digital platform - the DRM-free GOG.com - is also offering both RPGs at the same discounted prices on PC and Mac. The Enhanced Editions feature additional quests, the soundtracks and a few more bonuses from the developer.
