The Queue: Legendaries, Gilneas, eyeballs, and more

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

The gronn (and their various subspecies) sure are colorful in Warlords.

Zapwidget asked:

Is Blizzard going to repeat the Legendary method from Mists in WoD? I ask because that will ultimately be what makes or breaks my decision to actively participate in the expansion. In my opinion the legendary chain as implemented was less an optional thing and more something you had to do our you were holding your team back.

At this point in the Warlords alpha, we don't know. Unless I've missed something huge, we have no information about any Warlords legendaries whatsoever. I get the feeling Blizzard liked the Wrathion model, but I don't know whether or not they would repeat it. If they do repeat it, I'd expect some refinement to the process.

GordonSullivan asked:

I was just playing the Worgen start zone last week and Genn promised his son that we'll be back to reclaim the land he died for. Do you think Blizzard will ever make a return? Or is it just another of those pieces of lore that time forgot?

I suspect there's a gameplay issue preventing Blizzard from tackling Gilneas: it's extremely close to Undercity and the Forsaken starting zone. If we did reclaim it in-game, could we do anything with it? Could it remain a persistent city the Alliance is actually able to use? The zones would be griefed into unplayability. That being said, I totally want to reclaim Gilneas. The city is beautiful and drips with Alliance history. The method by which it's integrated into the game, however, needs to be somewhat creative to prevent it from having a negative gameplay impact in the long term.

MusedMoose asked:

what would your character's battlecry be?

My character is a rogue. Her only battlecry is a knife in her opponent's back.

@Raysgamingrants asked:

Do you think Blizzard will change the color of BE eyes back to blue since the Sunwell is back? Fel energy not needed anymore.

If the green eyes of the blood elves is anything like the green skin of the orcs, it's probably permanent. Those with green eyes might even pass the trait onto their children. We've seen young orcs in-game that couldn't have been alive to drink the demon juice, but they're green nonetheless.

@TheNerdSmith asked:

What achievements are you looking to finish up before WoD? Just got the ICC25 Meta after 3-1/2 years of working on it.

I'm including this question because it might be fun to discuss in the comments (along with your questions for tomorrow, of course). Me? I'm not an achievement guy. I don't mind when I get one accidentally, but I don't chase them down unless they give a cool prize, because in that case, it's about the cool thing and not the cheevo. It's not just WoW, either. It's all games. Achievements are just not for me.
