WRUP: Weekend of news

This has been a week of news. Changes to casting on the move, nerfs to Garrosh, and Heroes of the Storm leaks. These news-filled weeks feel few and far between these days, so it's nice to feel like our beloved Blizzard is picking up steam. What do you feel about the news of the weeks, and what are you hoping to hear next week?

Adam Koebel (@bendakwow) It's going to be a lazy weekend consisting of a lot of Olympics watching and a bit of raiding. As for this week's news, I think its nice they are taking challenge modes seriously. Remember, you've got several months to get around to them if you've been putting them off. Next week, I want to hear something new about Warlords. I enjoyed the artcraft post about garrisons and now I want more! Maybe it's too early to talk about class changes, but some zone previews or something along those lines would be cool.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I'm going to be doing a guest spot on The Training Dummies podcast Sunday, and other than that, I'm not quite sure yet! News is nice, the patch is nice and all, but I'm still getting antsy at the lack of Warlords info. We don't exactly know much about what's going to be going on at all -- pre-orders opening up would be nice, beta information would be nicer. Oh, and more character model previews. I'm really excited about all the ones we've seen so far!

Allison Robert (@AllisonRobert) I'm hoping to get more done for the project I started to look at LFR numbers, but other than that I foresee a great deal of snow-shoveling in my future. I really want to hear that an announcement that druids will be able to fish in bear form because it's obviously a huge balance issue that they can't.

Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb) Currently I'm back to playing Starbound with a bit of Mass Effect Multiplayer on the side. As far as news goes. Eh, it's news. At this point, I'm kind of just too impatient for the beta. I'm a little disappointed that they aren't adapting panda challenge modes for patch 6.0, if only because I like the idea of that content staying relevant.

Elizabeth Harper (@Faience) I've been really busy lately without much time for WoW. I'm hoping to at least make time for holiday dailies!

Joe Perez (@lodurzj) celebrating my birthday today have a lot of thing to get done and many friends and family to see today. Looking forward to relaxing a bit. Also looking in to learning how to play Malifaux this weekend as well.

Honestly I'm waiting for pre orders announcement. I really would like to get my pre order in and get a boost to 90.

Kristin Marshall (@kristin) I won't be playing much this weekend, in fact, I'm not sure if I'll be raiding! But I have a few personal creative projects I'd love to work on. And I'm sure I'll watch a bit of the Olympic Games, too.

I'm really anxious to hear more about pre-orders, the beta, CMs... Everything, really.

Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) now that the NDA is down I might play some ESO. It's a funny game really, a normal elder scrolls game where there are other people. Even fewer advantages to questing with others than in WoW! Other that that, capping honor on my characters that need it, and the eternal quest for the love rocket.

Next week I'm hoping to hear about the new season, preorders and the level 90 boost.

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
