Engadget Review

The Model:Cycles is the newest member of Elektron’s entry-level lineup. It’s an FM groovebox that borrows a lot from the popular (and much more expensive) Digitone. Like the Model:Samples before it, it’s a very hands-on and approachable device that maintains Elektron’s powerful and unique sequencer. It’s an incredibly fun and creative instrument that expertly balances depth with ease of use. It’s not without its shortcomings, but at just $299 it’s hard to complain.
